After having placed a wolf or a hunter outside of her turn, can a player immediately draw the additional tiles? Yes, as many tiles as there are tiles in contact with the wolf or hunter tile just placed (from 1 to 4). For example, by placing a hunter on a wolf already surrounded of four forest tiles, the player immediately draws four additional tiles from the bag.

What happens when a player reveals his color during his turn? This permits a player to take three turns in a row: 1. The player takes his normal turn, drawing the additional tile(s). 2. He reveals his color and places the shepherd color tile, taking the appropriate number of additional tiles for this placement. 3. He takes a “one time only” additional free turn.

Is it allowed to have "holes" in the landscape, that is to say, empty spaces surrounded by four tiles? Yes. Moreover, a field with a "hole" inside it is not considered closed.

Can a player keep blue sheep and red sheep in the same closed field? No. A pen can be made up only of sheep of the same color.

Does a player have to reveal her color and give up at the same time? Not, not necessarily.

When one forest contains a hunter, another wolf, and the two are connected by a forest tile (see illustration), what happens? The hunter does not kill the wolf; the wolf thus remains active and cancels all the fields bordering the forest, unless and until a hunter tile is placed on top of him. On the other hand, it is now forbidden to place another wolf in this new large forest, since there is already a hunter in it.

When should the points be calculated? The points of a player are counted only when the game is finished. Only then do players calculate points for the largest number of sheep in an enclosed field + the abandonment bonus.
