Wooly Bully is a superb small parlor game for 2 to 4 players, as simple to play as it is amusing.
What’s it all about? Each person plays a shepherd who must build the largest enclosure containing sheep of his color. In turn, the players place small square tiles of landscape on the table, a little like dominos. On the tiles there are: sheep, forest, wolves or hunters! But here is the trick: the color of the players is secret at the beginning, and if a player reveals his color before the end, he gets a free turn. Knowing when to stop playing is also important — be one of the first players to stop placing tiles, and gain bonus points!
Sheep in danger The sheep, grazing the pasture, are at the mercy of the wolves which prowl the forests. If you place a wolf token in a forest bordering an opened enclosure, the wolf devours the sheep! Unless a hunter appears in the same forest, in this case the hunter captures the wolf. Obviously, at the end of the game, the enclosures which remain open do not count. A surprisingly tactical experience, Wooly Bully is really a big game in a small box!
